Stayed at bell inn for 4 nights. The location was perfect for exploring shops, parks for walking the dog, and catching buses. Our room was a beautiful double on the top floor, really quiet despite being near a busy road. The friendly welcome.

The welcoming hosts made the stay enjoyable, and the room was comfortable with a large bathroom, though the building's historic stairs can be a workout. A lively local pub vibe was nice, but breakfast had room for improvement with the surrounding odor.

Perfect for a relaxed getaway
When we arrived, the barman was friendly and even recommended a great local café for breakfast just a few minutes away which was a lovely surprise.
It wasn't exactly inexpensive but still reasonable for what you get.

would like to stay here on the next trip
The twin room at the top was surprisingly comfy and had a big bathroom with both a bath and shower. The location made it easy to walk into town and the staff was really friendly. Even with street noise, sleep was good thanks to secondary glazing. Free parking added to the convenience.
